PERSONAL PROFILE ANALYSIS: Thomas International has been providing businesses with work personality profiling for over 25 years. The Personal Profile Analysis (PPA) provides an insight into how people behave at work giving answers and direction to questions such as – what are their strengths and limitations? Are they self-starters? How do they communicate? What motives them?

 

Rust Advanced Numerical Reasoning Appraisal (RANRA): assesses the extent to which a candidate can recognise, understand, generalise and apply the logical operations inherent in their numerical/mathematical training. Its use alongside the W-GCTA (below) covers the broad spectrum of cognitive skills necessary for effective management.

 

Watson-Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal – UK Edition (W-GCTA): measures higher level verbal reasoning abilities that have clear relevance for the decision-makers in any organisation. This unique test provides an invaluable assessment strategy for human resource professionals and recruitment specialists involved in the selection and development of managerial and professional staff. Used with RANRA produces a seamless and demanding appraisal of both higher level verbal and numerical reasoning skills.

 

GIOTTO: integrity test designed specifically for use in work situations. Giotto is particularly suited for use in pre-interview, indicating particular aspects of a candidate's work-based behaviour and attitudes which may benefit from further probing during the selection process.

 

ORPHEUS: work-based personality test. Orpheus is a big-five measure of personality developed specifically for use in the workplace. As well as the big five measures of Fellowship, Authority, Conformity, Emotion and Detail it contains an Unlikely Responses Scale and seven minor scales assessing the integrity traits of Proficiency, Work Orientation, Patience, Fair-mindedness, Loyalty and Initiative.

 

QUINTAX: provides a profile of the respondent against five major personality factors – the ‘Big Five’.  It also provides a taxonomy or classification system for describing personality differences between people in terms of ‘Types’.  It is designed for use in the workplace in both selection and development applications where a short administration personality questionnaire is required.
